I just got into golf a lil over a month ago and i spent $45 dollars for 2 bags (1s a Taylormade) 2 sets of irons pw-3, 1 Driver, 1-3 Wood and 2 putters 😂
As someone who just got into golf I bought my whole set for 35 bucks bought a set of golfballs for 20 and a replacement driver for 50. If you wanna play there are ways
Golf is robbery
For beginners it is always recommended to buy a starter set like the one you showed second, they are typically soft shaft drivers, a 3 wood, a 5 hybrid, hollowback iron from 5-9, Pitching and Gap wedges and of course a putter, these sets target the core clubs that most people like to hit as well as the easier more forgiving club types to hit, they are good for begginers until they learn their own swing and how to fix problems with it, the bag being 400 makes no sense but the entire set of clubs wouldnt be used if you are experienced enough to buy clubs for your own game
A good carpenter doesn’t blame his tools. Learn to swing well and a $15 club will do just fine
